Professional Development
Management has a policy of encouraging teachers to undertake regular professional development, in areas of that are of interest to them. This ensures relevant up to date knowledge is always being introduced to the Centre.
Outings
At preschool we often take children on outings. We believe this is a great way for them to be part of the community. Some trips are in close range to the preschool, for example walking to the local post shop to post a letter, or to the dairy to buy some milk. Other times we organise trips relevant to the interests of the children, for example, a trip to the airport or wildlife reserve. This helps to extend children’s learning and their confidence in interacting with the wider world.
